The village hall has a large main room which can seat up to 120 for a formal meal.

This room has a wooden floor which is marked out as a  full-size badminton court.

The hall has a recently refurbished kitchen and a separate bar. Both open onto the main hall via serving hatches with sliding doors.

There is an adjoining smaller carpeted room which can seat up to 20.

This room also houses a display of local artefacts showcasing life in the village from the 1900s.

The hall has a large foyer area, which has toilets including disabled facilities.

These are open to the public during daylight hours.

There are information boards in the foyer, along with leaflets and guides about local walks, events and services.

There's also a copy of the Parish Council minutes and on a board outside, you'll find more information about the Anglo Saxon Ad Gefrin site which lies about 1 mile east of Kirknewton travelling towards Wooler.

There is a small parking area in front of the hall as well as a shared car park at the side of the building.
